Bloggy Blues

Posted by mindyluwho

I'm feeling a little lonely over at my new blog. I'm telling myself that it's because people haven't updated their readers with my new spot so they don't know I've been blogging again.

Or maybe they think I'll go away again for a long time.

Which could definitely happen. I make no promises.

Or maybe you are just as busy as I am. Tomorrow I have to be 7 places all around the same time. But I won't be at those places. Nope, I'll be eating ribs, (which you would know if you had read my blog) all-you-can-eat ribs. My mouth is already watering!

Anyhoo, it is nice to feel like I'm talking to someone other than myself, which, I must admit, happens just a little too often.

OK, it happens a lot.

And I'm done groveling here.

Have yourself a great day!

Time to move on...

This blog has been giving me too many problems, so from now on you can find me here. Hopefully I can figure out how to transfer all my posts, but until then I will keep this one open.

Have a great day!

See These?

These are the "fruits of my labor"...i.e. my first tomatoes of my first garden ever!

They were delicious!

Don't try this at home...

or you will find that your body hurts in places it has never hurt before.

Just warnin' ya...

My hopes are dashed for being the next Miss California...

well, except for the fact that I am already married...

Apparently if you wish to even be in the Miss USA pageant, you cannot believe in traditional marriage. You must leave your religious beliefs at the door.

According to Kathy Lewis, who runs the Miss California competition, "As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman," said Lewis in a statement. "I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit. I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family." (emphasis added).

Thank you Miss California Carrie Prejean for standing up for your values!

An eye-opening clip

Well, I say it's an eye opening clip, but then if there is truly so much subliminal advertising...is it really eye opening?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyQjr1YL0zg

After I watched this I googled subliminal images to see what I could "see" and got an eyeful of s3xx! Don't do it. You might run across the one I did where you are listening to this happy music and then a creepy picture pops up *shudder*.

My day is ruined.
